These contributions, whether one-time gifts, recurring support, or legacy pledges, are instrumental in empowering NIT Silchar to:

• Enhance campus infrastructure by investing in state-of-the-art equipment, facilities, and resources for our students.
• Support our student community through alumni mentorship programs, scholarships, awards, and funding for academic travel and projects.
• Strengthen academic and industry bonds by promoting research collaborations, consultancy relationships between faculty and alumni, and fostering meaningful interactions.

The Gurudakshina Program

This initiative offers a structured way for our final-year students and established alumni to give back. We encourage you to pledge the equivalent of one month’s salary or 1% of annual business profits. You can schedule your contribution for a time that suits you best after graduation. All pledges are recognized with a certificate of appreciation. Notably, donors contributing a minimum of ₹50 lakhs will be honored at a public function and presented with a framed certificate. These funds will be allocated to the Institute Endowment Fund, your parent department, your chosen hostel, and the NIT Silchar Alumni Association.

Institute Development Endowment

We are establishing a robust Endowment Fund to serve as a permanent financial foundation for the Institute's future. This fund will provide the critical resources needed to advance knowledge, drive innovation, and support pioneering research, ensuring NIT Silchar remains at the forefront of education and discovery for generations to come.

Student Aid Fund

Many of the brightest minds at NIT Silchar face significant financial hurdles. Your contribution to the Student Aid Fund directly helps these deserving students achieve their dream of a world-class education, ensuring that talent alone determines success.

Batch Legacy Project

Reconnect with your batchmates to leave a lasting mark on the Institute. A Batch Legacy Project is a collaborative and meaningful way to give back, allowing you to fund a specific initiative that enhances campus life and reflects your cohort's shared experiences.

Emergency Fund

This fund provides immediate support to members of our campus family—students, faculty, and staff (including temporary and outsourced workers)—during unforeseen medical emergencies. Your donation is a powerful gesture of solidarity and care for our community.

Hostel Amenities

Direct your support to the heart of student life. Contributions can be designated to improve the amenities and living conditions in your former hostel, creating a better environment for current and future students.
